I usually do just enough to be around the same protection level as I would anyway bc it’s really just an aesthetic preference. Still costs resources though so it doesn’t ruin the game. The mod, I think UCO or something that lets you use ballistic weave on any clothing. Also might tweak their damage settings to balance shit out instead of you going around with paper soldiers. The companion enhancer which re does some npc companion models to be a little sharper or just “nicer”. The unofficial patch I’m not even sure does much but have used it so much it’s like.whatever. Well, not anymore! With this mod, you can find a spare set inside the Primate House next to Cito’s Mother’s last words to him. The only way to get the rags is to kill him. Yet, he does wear some unique armor called the Wildman Rags. If you are like me, you like Cito and don’t want to kill him in the quest of Nuka-world. Meant for peaceful players, this adds Cito’s outfit to the game without needing to kill him.
